The Diaruna Association team participated in a workshop organized by HelpAge International in Sidon and hosted by the Ahluna Association. This workshop was part of a series of workshops for frontline humanitarian responders focusing on integrating older people into humanitarian work.

The workshop aimed to identify and address gaps in the integration of older people in current emergency responses and to promote practices that ensure the more inclusive and effective participation of older people, including people with disabilities, in humanitarian programs.

The Diaruna team’s participation stems from the association’s commitment to developing the capacities of its staff and enhancing the quality of humanitarian response to ensure respect for the principles of inclusion and non-discrimination, and to guarantee access to services for all those most in need.
