Diyarouna Association participates in a coordination meeting to discuss the conditions of the North Tower camp

Diyarouna Association participated in the emergency coordination meeting called by the People’s Committee in the North Tower camp, with the participation of associations, institutions, the child protection network and clubs, and in the presence of representatives of Burj Al-Shamal Municipality, the Director of UNRWA Services, Palestinian Civil Defence and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in the camp under difficult circumstances, and stressed the importance of enhancing coordination and cooperation between the various authorities and institutions to serve the people of the camp and improve the level of services provided to them.

A number of recommendations were also emphasized, most notably opening roads and removing encroachments to facilitate the passage of ambulances and firefighting vehicles, limiting gatherings in the streets to preserve public safety, taking into account the conditions of tenants, in addition to asking UNRWA to provide urgent relief assistance, open the clinic on a daily basis, provide hospitalisation services and open the laboratory department.

During its participation, Diyarna Association stressed the importance of uniting efforts among all entities working in the camp, and organising the process of distributing aid to the displaced brothers to ensure that support reaches as many needy families as possible.
