Diyarna Association conducted an awareness session titled “How to Deal with the Effects of Fear and Stress Resulting from War” at the Sanabel Center, with the participation of a group of women, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote mental health and psychosocial support in the community.
The session aimed to highlight the psychological effects of war, including feelings of fear, anxiety, and psychological stress, as well as to equip participants with practical skills and strategies to help them cope with these challenges and enhance their psychological resilience and ability to deal with the pressures of their daily lives.
The session included interactive activities and open discussions that provided participants with a safe space to express their feelings and experiences, exchange expertise, and offer mutual support, thus contributing to strengthening social cohesion and psychological well-being.
This project is implemented in partnership with Himaya Organization and with financial support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lebanon.
