As part of the 2026 summer program at Diyarna Association, and in cooperation with DCA, a series of awareness sessions on the dangers of war remnants and unexploded ordnance were organized for children in grades one through four.

The sessions aimed to raise children’s awareness of the risks left behind by war, teach them how to identify suspicious objects, and emphasize the importance of not approaching or touching them. They also explained the correct reporting procedures, contributing to the protection of children, their families, and their communities.

The sessions saw significant interaction from the children through simplified activities and teaching methods that helped reinforce safety messages and encouraged them to be vigilant and act safely if they encounter any suspicious object.

The sessions concluded with the distribution of awareness gifts to the children, encouraging them to adhere to safety guidelines and reinforcing the concepts they learned during the activity. Diyarna Association extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to DCA for its cooperation and valuable efforts in implementing these awareness sessions, which come within the framework of promoting child protection and spreading a culture of prevention and safety after the war.
