The participation of Diyarna Association

At the invitation of the National Commission for Lebanese Women’s Affairs and UN Women, Diyarna Association participated in the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Agenda for Women, Peace and Security: Exploring Ways to Accelerate Progress in Lebanon, which was held at the InterContinental Venice Hotel – Beirut.

The participation came with the aim of strengthening the presence of the Association within national and international efforts aimed at supporting the role of women in peace processes, empowering them in decision-making positions, and discussing challenges and opportunities to achieve real progress in this field.
