The UNRWA Protection Department, in coordination with Diyaruna Association, provided training to volunteers in the summer activity held at Jabalia School. The training included protection concepts and basic humanitarian principles, followed by an assessment of the children’s needs. In conclusion, the importance of this summer activity was emphasized in terms of timing, location, and target group, especially in light of the difficult security situation, the pressures that families and children are suffering from, and the absence of safe spaces.
