The project “Dance is our homeland” concluded in a special artistic ceremony held at the official stage of Tyre High School, under the auspices of the Municipality of Tyre and with the support of the Afaq Foundation and the Palmond Foundation, and in cooperation with the Diyarna Association and the Women’s Programs Centre in Al-Bas Camp and Amel International Foundation.

This ceremony was the culmination of six months of intensive exercises in ballet, contemporary dance and fitness, with the participation of children and youth from the city of Tyre and its suburbs. The ceremony witnessed a wide presence of events, institutions and associations, along with the parents of the participating children.

The ceremony included the presentation of dance performances inspired by the trainings received by the children inside the participating schools and centres, in addition to speeches from the representative of the Tyre Municipality, the Balmond Foundation, and the project trainer, as well as touching speeches by children and their parents, and video presentations that documented the training stages.

The ceremony was characterised by the creative performances presented by the participants, which were admired and impressed by the attendees, emphasising the importance of performing arts in empowering children and young people, enhancing their self-confidence and highlighting their creativity energies.
