The National Commission for Lebanese Women, in partnership with the “Search for Common Ground” organization, conducted a series of training sessions aimed at building and developing the capabilities of local youth organizations and women’s rights organizations that were recently established, with the fourth meeting centered around “Organizing Campaigns: Awareness and Advocacy.”
This meeting, which was held over two days, comes within the framework of the National Coordination Authority’s work to implement the national plan to implement Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security, which was approved by the Lebanese government in September 2019, and within the joint program implemented by the National Authority in partnership with the organization, within the framework of the regional program on “Women, Youth, Peace and Security”, which is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
