Presenting a “meditative paper” to MP Inaya Izz al-Din

Within the framework of the campaign “Promoting Social Stability in South Lebanon”, a delegation from the Diyarna Association visited the office of MP Inaya Izz al-Din in the city of Tyre, in the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Tyre, Mr. Alwan Sharafuddin, and representatives of the Association, Mr. Ahmed Dahwish and Ms. Lina Amioni.

The meeting began with an overview of the association and its activities, and then the “contemplative paper” prepared by the young men and women of the campaign was presented, which dealt with a set of basic axes, focussing on the proposed means of recovery at the economic, social, psychological, health and political levels.

The meeting witnessed a positive discussion on the mechanisms of benefitting from the contents of the paper, in addition to discussing ways of cooperation and networking with MP Izz al-Din and Tyre Municipality in various fields. A number of practical proposals have also been put forward, which are scheduled to be followed up and implemented in the next phase.
