Diyarouna Association’s Participation in the “Green Generation Approach” Program

As part of its commitment to environmental issues and raising awareness among younger generations, Diyarouna Association took part in promoting and implementing the “Green Generation Approach” program — an educational curriculum focused on climate change, aiming to raise environmental awareness among children in refugee camps and to create healthier and greener spaces.

The program consists of eight thematic chapters, each covering a key environmental topic:

1. Why Nature Matters

2. Deforestation and Reforestation

3. Water Management

4. Waste and Garbage

5. Energy

6. Air Pollution

7. Wildlife

8. Environmental Life in Camps

The curriculum was delivered to children in Burj Al-Shamali camp, with the goal of encouraging eco-friendly behavior, inspiring children to protect nature and resources around them, and contributing to the creation of a more sustainable and healthy camp environment.
